Serverside Group's management team has an extensive and distinguished history in designing, developing and marketing innovative online solutions for global financial services firms.

Adam Elgar
President & Co-Founder

Prior to founding Serverside with his brother, Tom, Adam was Co-founder and President of another start-up, Streaming Media, Inc., which sold to Penton Media, Inc. in September 2000. Streaming Media pioneered an online strategy based around a sophisticated internet publishing engine. Prior to this, Adam was the Founder and Director of First Conferences Online Ltd. Adam and Tom are both named inventors on Serverside's patents.

Tom Elgar
Co-Founder & CTO

Tom cut his teeth in San Francisco in the late 90s as the sole architect and developer on the highly successful Streamingmedia.com website. He used the same techniques to develop around 10 similar content-rich sites for Nichestream.com. In collaboration with colleagues past and present, Tom presently holds patents in Europe, the US, Australia and New Zealand around the architecture for online card personalisation and design. Tom holds a Bachelors degree in Economics and a masters in information systems.

Michael Campbell
General Counsel

The nature of the market in which Serverside operates requires a responsive and sophisticated legal function equipped to negotiate with some of the world's leading financial institutions. Michael spent seven years at leading London law firm Travers Smith, LLP, where he worked in the firm's Commercial Department. He advised a wide range of clients in the technology sector. Michael heads up the legal team at Serverside which handles contract negotiations and management, intellectual property prosecution and strategy, and data protection and compliance.

Anita Rajdev
Group Finance Director

Anita began her finance career with Andersen Consulting and qualified as ACMA. She has since held numerous positions running large and diverse finance teams including those at T-Mobile. Latterly, whilst running IT and Property Development Finance at Marks and Spencer Plc she was responsible for managing the largest and most complex cost areas of the business representing 40% of the entire cost base. She joined the team at Serverside in 2007 and is responsible for overseeing all finance functions. Since the partial acquisition by Gemalto NV in 2009, Anita centralised the financial function to the UK and is responsible for delivering KPI's and results into Gemalto's wider reporting structure.

Gareth Jones
Global Head of Sales

Gareth began his career in sales in October 1999 as a Senior Sales Executive with Multex Europe in London. Over the next four years, he held increasingly senior positions, eventually serving as the company's Vice President, Key Accounts & Solutions, Europe & Asia, in August 2003. Following the acquisition of Multex.com by Reuters, Gareth was made Head of Research & Advisory, Investment Management in London and then was recognized with the position of Vice President, Investment Management, Investment Banking & Corporations, Gareth is now responsible for Global Sales and the American business of Serverside. He was instrumental in the launching of Serverside's first implementation of CardCompiler and OCOC in 2010.

James Barclay
Senior Vice President - Asia/Pacific

James' experience includes eight years in senior management at First Conference in London. While there, James built a successful international conference business that included providing internet strategy to large corporations. James held a lead responsibility in developing web marketing strategies and built a lucrative web channel in addition to a profitable publishing site. James heads up Serverside for Asia Pacific and Australasia. He looks after our existing customers and new sales in the region. James has been with Serverside since soon after it was founded in 2004. He set up and holds global responsibility for Serverside's image checking business.

Anthony Lloyds - Perks
Head of Sales EMEA

Anthony started his career in Card Payments with American Express Europe in 1990 and has subsequently worked in a variety of business development roles with global card issuers including GE Capital, JP Morgan Chase and BarclayCard. He left Amex in 2001 as Head of Commercial Card UK Multinational Sales and, following a two year stint with First Data international as New Business Director, became Head of Sales Europe for GE Corporate Payment Services in 2004. After a year back with Amex following their acquisition of the GE CPS business, Anthony operated as a consultant to the commercial card industry before joining Serverside as Head of Sales EMEA in May 2010. He has subsequently presided over the acquisition of one of the company's first UK Debit Card clients, and was responsible for the implementation of our first transport card client in Europe, Stockholm Lokal.

Connor Kinnear
Head of Marketing

Connor was appointed Head of Global Marketing at Serverside Group in 2009 following the capital increase investment in the company by Gemalto. Connor was brought into Serverside to manage and invigorate their innovative brand portfolio. Prior to joining Serverside, Connor gained extensive experience in the marketing of card products working with Payzone Plc and Bank Invik and launched a number of card programs into the UK and Irish markets. Connor's marketing experience initially grew outside of the cards industry with a masters in business and marketing from The University of Edinburgh and a number of years in the marketing team at the drinks company Diageo, working on global brands such as Guinness, Baileys and Smirnoff Vodka.

 
Key Fact:
KBC Bank in Belgium revealed that 120,000 of its banking customers uploaded a picture of their choice onto their payment cards in the first four months after offering Serverside's card customization service.
