One Customer-One CardTM allows a card to be manufactured "on demand" when a customer requests it. This offers a break with the past when cards were pre-printed in bulk in one facility, shipped to a separate facility and then held in a vault until needed.
Printing "on demand" removes the guesswork of card run estimations a program will need - a guess that results in huge costs from over-ordering, transportation and inventory management. The digital press used in OC-OC produces higher quality cards and enables infinite designs and brands to be intermixed on printed card stock. For card issuers, this represents extreme flexibility.
